I've always been fascinated with different languages and cultures. At the University of Heidelberg in Germany, I earned a degree in romance languages, linguistics, and art history. I worked in the field of marketing, media, and public relations in the both the Black Forest and in Bavaria. While I lived in Paris and taught German, I continued my own education by studying French language and culture. In Los Angeles, California, I taught German, worked in the entertainment industry, and even became a Certified Life Coach. Now, I live in Cedar Crest, New Mexico. In the stunning Sandia mountains, here, I wrote a book that was published in Germany. I look forward to tutoring students in the German language, from beginning to advanced, and to share my knowledge of German culture in order to make a well-rounded education in a foreign language. I want my students to have an enjoyable and successful learning experience as they immerse themselves in the beauty of the German language.When I'm not teaching, I enjoy activities that make me feel creative and balanced, like yoga, hiking in the mountains, gardening, and cooking. I always make time to spend with my very best friends of all, my family.
